Viewers trust a draw only when they can see the whole process. Here is how to keep a giveaway transparent from start to finish.
Before the stream
- Publish clear rules: who can enter, the deadline, how many entries each person gets.
- Close the list on time and do not edit it afterwards.
- Paste the list into the Wheel or Animal Race and run one test to check everything works.
The Wheel takes up to 100 lines and Animal Race up to 60 names. For a longer list, number the entrants and use Random Number.
During the stream
- Share your screen before you press spin, so viewers see the full list.
- Scroll slowly through the list so people can check their names.
- Spin once per prize. Do not spin again for any reason other than one stated in your rules.
- Read the winner’s name aloud and leave the result on screen for a few seconds.
If there are several prizes, tick the option that removes the winner from the next round so nobody wins twice.
After the stream
- Keep the recording as proof.
- Take a screenshot of the past results list.
- Post the winners where you published the rules.
What to avoid
- Do not do a practice spin in front of viewers right before the real one. It causes confusion.
- Do not use these tools for betting or games played for money.
