What is Animal Race
Animal Race picks a random name by running a race. Each name on your list becomes an animal on the track. The first animal across the finish line is the name picked.
There are four choices: ducks, chickens, dogs and venomous snakes that rear up with their hoods spread. Each animal gets its own colour and shape from the name it carries.
How to use it
- Type your names, one per line, up to 60 names.
- Pick an animal, or leave it on “Mix all four”.
- Pick a race length: 10, 20 or 30 seconds.
- Press “Start race” and wait for the first animal to finish.
- Press “New race” to pick the next name.
What people use it for
- Calling on students in class.
- Drawing a winner during a livestream, a party or an event.
- Deciding who pays, who goes first or who takes a task in a group.
Use “Full screen” when you show it on a projector. Tick “Remove the winner from the next race” if nobody should be picked twice.
