What is a chicken race name picker
A chicken race picks one random name using a flock of chickens. You type a list of names and each name is given to a chicken. They all run for the finish line, and the first one there decides who is picked.
It is only a game for choosing a name. There is no fighting and no betting.
What the chickens look like
- There are roosters and hens. Roosters have a bigger comb and a longer tail.
- Five colours: white, red-brown, black, golden and grey.
- The chickens hop as they run, and their heads bob with each step.
The colour, and whether a racer is a rooster or a hen, come from the name itself, so the same name always gives the same chicken.
How to run a chicken race
- Type your names, one per line, up to 60 names.
- “Chickens” is already selected under Animal.
- Pick a race length: 10, 20 or 30 seconds.
- Press “Start race” and wait for the first chicken to finish.
When to use the chicken race
- A game at a year-end party, a class reunion or a family gathering.
- Drawing small prizes at a holiday event.
- Deciding which team goes first, which table is served first or who sings first.
To give out several prizes, tick “Remove the winner from the next race” and run one race per prize.
Common questions
Are roosters faster than hens?
No. Every chicken follows the same random speed rule. Rooster or hen is only a visual difference.
Can I make them all roosters?
No. The name decides whether a racer is a rooster or a hen, and you cannot change it.
Does it cost anything or need an account?
No. Open the page and use it.
